The vertical allows so much more room for all the great details front to back. Nice work Paul.

Must be fun to explore all those tidal pools, very scenic and like all the different shapes, colors and textures of the rocky shore and cliff. Terrific!

Really a nice composition. The one rock just below the surface of the water, in addition to it's counterpart to it's right (this perspective) ... sets up the image very well.

Great 'lines' throughout ... the curve of the bay ... those of the rock face ... et al. Add in the two rocks, more particularly, the underwater one in the foreground mentioned above ... very strong elements in the overall composition.

And the colours ... wow ... very natural, deep, rich and exceedingly complimentary.

Caveats? Hope you don't mind my words to follow ... took your image up to it's largest resolution ... some lens movement/camera shake? Possibly?

There is some loss of clarity and detail. Some.

Although that in and of itself is usually a significant consideration ... the overall feel and presentation is quite strong visually.

My curiosity got the better of me and lead to my taking a closer and 'larger' look.

That said, I still enjoy your image here. As mentioned above, and a soft spot for me ... the varying textures drew me in, as well as, the colour palette.

And I will go so far as to suggest ... if this area is readily available to you ... a possible revisit? It would definitely be worth it in my mind.

As presented ... it is a stunning scene with much to explore visually.

But of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.
