My second matte painting. This is concept art for a film script I'm working on: Our two characters have just escaped from jail; their on a jail planet (the story is like a really corrupt star wars but without the force). They creep panicked through a forest trying to find a way out, occasionally hiding from patrolling guards who are out to look from them. They meet the edge of the forest and the camera cranes up and this whole scene is revealed. The monolith is a pod launcher, it's like a futuristic airport if you like. It launches passenger pods into space. This is our two character's way off of this corrupt prison planet. But how will they get on board a pod?
