Just a shot of some sand on the beach in Bandon, Oregon. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there three years in a row. The blue tinge again is a result of the Ektochrome slide film.

Beautiful textures on the sand, I honestly thought this was an abstract at first ! Though I wish you'd bumped up the color on the blue a tad, the deeper shade would've made a nice contrast & really highlighted the sand more. All in all though, a very cool shot !

I like the textures on the sand and shadows too. The blue frame is a great match, though you might try playing around with some gradient fades to soften the borders of the picture... helping the overall blend. Nice and soothing image for the desktop!
