Imagination is something we are all born with but ignore as we get older. I can see by this picture you are not getting any older. I like the way you took a simple contrasting bow and made it part of the picture story. Like Raziel I would of liked to see a wider view. Other than that please do more.
Interesting idea. I'm assuming you must have placed the bow there, am interested to know the story behind the stautue; was he looking at something that you have covered with the bow, or was his hand empty? One thing I don't particularly like is the background, it is a bit messy and doesn't really fit into the mood that you have created here. Like Raziel I too am interested to see further adventures of the red bow!
This is certainly poignant. It is cropped pretty tight though the background doesn't distract me too much since the photo certainly draws me to the bow. What actually stands out nearly as much as the bow does for me is the icicle hanging from the nose of the statue. A little like a frozen tear. I do get a melancholy feel from this and will be on the look out for another adventure.
Alright the full story of the matter... Here in Carson city we have an arts center where during last winter a bunch of "statues" were placed in front of it. one of my friends (WeasleG in fact) and I decided to take a red bow down and spice up an otherwise boring court yard. So we took our red bow and.... click! a few pictures were taken and the red bow left there to bring color to dull plaster o:)
This picture was cropped so tightly as to the parking lot behind it... :-)
enjoy! and many more snowy statues to come!

Very interesting idea, I would say, it would be B&W, the statue and just the red bow with its original color, it would look more strong meaning....anyway, I like this idea, is great!!
my new image "CAEDES-expo-"
On this image I would have liked to see a wider view. Other than that its a good composition.
