I fell in love with these fences at Misquamicut Beach in Westerly, Rhode Island. I'm open for any constructive criticism whatsoever.

I really like the color of the sky against the green grass and the brown fence! Nice job!

Isn't it funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?

i think it might be nice taken closer to your favorite fences! I love getting really close in to the subject and i would have loved to see this shot that way! I love the hundreds of footprints in the sand... it adds a nice touch to the shot!

Great picture, I especially love the contrast of sand, grass, and sky. Just seeing it reminds me of the beach!

A nice shot. It would be even better if there was just a little less sky and a little more ground, in my opinion.

"I fell in love with these fences"

Why? Show me (us) the viewer(s). Do you like the way they disect the landscape? Their texture? Perhaps the way they run on for some distance?

Point is, as shot above, they sort of blend in with the rest of the scene. Don't get me wrong, it's a pleasant scene. But it's, for lack of a better word, unremarkable.

Try turning up the contrast, especially between fence, and it's surroundings. How well versed (if at all.. making no assumptions here, nothing more) are you with editing software? Try raising saturations a bit in the red/yellow family. Brighten the image a bit. Trim out a bit of the sky above. So, in a nutshell, if the shot's about the fence... show us the fence.

Meant as constructive. And as motivational. I hope it's received as both.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
