I thought it was interesting that in the 1700's they put angels (or skulls) on headstones!

Some people find imagery like this a little creepy, personally I find them fascinating. I think the image would have benefited from a tighter crop aspect on the stone itself and maybe in a higher contrast monotone effect to add the overall effect.

I agree with Phil here - there is some negative space that if removed would just booster the presence of the stone. It is a very interesting image - an interesting thing, as you say. Sort of elegantly melancholic and somehow emotional.Good job!

The subject,detail and color are good.It is the overall composition of the image that could be improved.

I am a fan of cemetarys and the old gravestones and statues. I like this one very much. Just wish the gravestone was showing more and less of the background. But this is a goodie :)
