Instantly recognizable as a DCM work - we are not seeing enough of them - more please :) This is a fine shot with great depth and the colours look so natural.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The focal clarity, detail, and angle are so extraordinary in this image that it almost appears 3-D. I feel like I could touch those trees on the right.
I love your wanderings and captured visions. You lead such an exceptional life. Is there any chance that you need an assistant? A camera caddy perhaps? Could I apply?! :)
questjester: You are too kind. If you watched me shoot you would wonder how I could ever get a good picture. My style is constantly moving and mild wildness.

Smiles ... Your style is unimportant, Jerry. You could rub your belly, pat your head, and jump up and down three times on your left leg before each shoot ... and it wouldn't take away from your unique vision and incredible talent in bringing that vision to life for the rest of us. You gift beauty and consciousness and inspiration to all who see your work. The world is a better place for you being in it. :)
In this composition, the eye is lead up the river to the distant mountains. You added the right amount of HDR in post-photo to give the image its due crispness and color pop. Very well done!
