I did this in StudioMax. It is an attempt at abstract art, I hope you like it. You really need to see it full screen to appreciate the detail. Max is a great program to fool around with.

Full screen is necessary on this one as Peter said. It's a good clean piece of desktop pleasure.

This came up in the voting booth and captured my attention...perhaps because it reminds me of candy, lol, caramel I think...anyhow, an interesting effect achieved here.:Pat.

The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count?

I saw this on the front page, which is an honor in its self. My first thought was of a butterfly or insect, of course, being an abstract it could be most anything. The texture is always interesting to figure out - I immediately thought of leather. The shading of the caramel colouring is beautifully done.
This item seems to be floating on that lovely background - I like the darker blue area, and think this would look well using that one colour. Your work is amazing Peter, and I can see you put a lot of time and effort into it. I also appreciate your narratives, in explaining how you achieve the different effects in your work :^>
