I've been experimenting with Studio Max and Photoshop techniques. This is an early attempt to create alien looking underwater creatures that are spawning. I had fun with the tenticles as you can see. It actually makes an interesting -- if a bit grotesque -- wall paper. Your comments are always appreciated.

Hmmm, it's good Peter. I do like the "watery" effect. The tenticles are kinda eerie looking. The one thing I'm not crazy about is seeing the title in the work, but maybe that's just me. I noticed you've done that before, like on reflections, but hey if you like it then that's cool by me.

Well they certainly look alien, perhaps some evil eyes would complete the effect? The background needs something else imho, not sure what though. More blue might be worth a try. Anyway it’s a commendable effort.

Thanx for the helpful feedback. Hottrockin, I like to experiment with text in images. I keep the text in layers so I can easily remove it if need be. At the moment it's just part of "my thing." I do appreciate your comment. A hypnosis clinic in California asked to use my "Reflections" image as their logo...sans the text. I was of course crushed <grin>. and removed it for them.

I like it. A lot. It is not at all "grotesque" as you suggest...
I find it graceful and interesting. I like the tiny bubbles that seem to add motion to this shot.
