I just love playing around with light and trees and water in Vue5. Sometimes it's hard to get the effect you want, but this time I came close. These are live oaks near the sea...oh probably about 10 miles north of Malibu, not far from Leo Carillio Beach. I lived in that area for a number of years and it definitely has a feeling to it. Also, the Vue 5 people have made some really nice improvements so if You have it, download that latest free upgrade.

very nice subdued colour - compliments the silhouette effect very well indeed. the slight touches of dabbled light in the foreground add to the realism nicely.

I'm still working on this one. I've installed some grass and weeds that make it less sterile. I'm really impressed with what one can do in Vue.

Nice work, Peter! I'm still working with Vue d'Esprit 4. I wonder how version 5 compares - - ? I really like working with Vue....a lot more user friendly than Bryce, IMO. High marks! Wen

Hello there Peter! You know those colours are magnificient! The make me feel as tho I just devoured an orange..and a lemon...the colours are all out there..soft and delicious...I can almost smell the scent of this sky, if you understand what I mean...being an artist, I think you do....and of course I love silhouettes, and you did these perfectly. All and all, this is a beautiful and elegant creation..nice work my friend...good to see it too!!..verena
