I so love Colorado's excellent rainbows. They can be so intense. This one is shot looking north from my deck. I'm going to miss all this when I move to California to be closer to my grandchildren. This is an actual picture and it was THAT intense. I think the pot of gold might be in that little barn down there. It's on a horse ranch.

Nice capture with this one. Better not start digging up the place though.

That's a beautiful and dreamy shot, Peter. I think you'd be better off moving your grandchildren to Colorado!

I'll bring the picks and shovels..we've no time to lose before you have to move away...it's definitely got to be that spot. Great job on this rainbow shot :)

Thanx people. I think I might post another rainbow...they are so fantastic up here at 8,500 ft altitude in the clear air. I'm also into God Rays lately as well.

Hello again Peter, I'm not sure why I haven't seen this photo of yours before..but I have never ever seen a good rainbow photo until this one of YOURS. It is a total wonderment! I will treasure this for a long long time. This reminds me of the day the end of the rainbow was right smack dab in the middle of our pasture! Oh I was so ready to dig!! But figured I'd better not even start that one. Heehee I am so glad I have toured your gallery today, it's made my week begin so much nicer.Placing your creations onto a desktop seems almost silly, because they are worth so much more than that. They need to be hung in lovely places to enjoy.. It's also made me realize how many great things are around to capture and enjoy. Verena

This is an AMAZING & GORGEOUS shot. The colours of the rainbow are out of this world & you can even see the reverse double of it above on the upper left. It's really too bad you have to leave such gorgeous country side.
