Hey guys...heres another magnolia bloom. I blurred the background a lot because it was really distracting before. I hope you like it! -Laurel

Very nice! Blurring the background makes the bloom stand out nicely. overall nice effect!

One comment ... I don't know how you isolated the bloom, but if you use the freehand selection tool, you can adjust the feathering to give you a smoother edge. I usually set mine to 2 or 3 for best results.

Laurel, a truly elegant capture. You've given that one bloom an almost unearthly translucence. Great call on blurring the background and in the framing. It works big time. It's not often that flower shots catch my attention but when I voted for this one I just had to take a better look at it afterward. Great work.
