An interpretation of verenabloo's photo "Solitude". Thanks Verena for letting me use it. Had a heck of a time trying to match the colours and look. Did a little photo touch-up work to straighten it out and added the white lines to the border. Well I did what I could with it. Hope you like this one. Your comments welcomed.

Great picture ... It does not solitude, serenity and a smile.

Oh my goodness!! What a precious painting!! Like it?! I adore it....love it! What an honor to have someone do a painting of one my my photos! I feel in love with that purple chair when I took the photos, and now you have made it even nicer!! I love how you got all the details! The colours are perfect!! I love how you did the "drips" below the nails on the fence.I am SO proud of you and that painting my friend!! Did you do it on regular canvas? How special this is to me! I want you to know, if I had gone ahead and done a painting of this? it would NEVER turn out as good as yours has. Feel free anytime to do a painting of any of my photos! See there? You did it, you painted...I loved your paintbox, now I love how you paint all the more! Thank you for such a lovely creation. Verena

Gorgeous rework of a beautiful capture! Verena had a lovely composition here and you've done it justice with this painted effect!

I had to go look for Verena's "Solitude" , in order to compare. I must say, you have a beautiful talent for painting! I absolutely love the attention paid to detail here, from the weathered wood, paint chips, rust stains on the fence, down to the thermometer and overall colours and shadings! Truly outstanding work, Eubeen! Faved+
