I found this image on a gift box some years ago. So I painted it on a plywood panel just for something to do. I actually ended up doing two versions, the other one lacked the garland and tinsel. This one looks much better. Probably should get around to applying a coat or two of varnish to protect it from scratches. I did a little cloning around the edges of the image to help "straighten" it out, most noticeable on the left side. Created the background in photoshop elements to make it a better size for the desktop. Hope you enjoy this one, you comments welcomed.

So adorable and a superb painting job, Wendell! I seem to remember these gift boxes, and I would imagine this was quite a tedious task.. with all the flowers on the wallpaper and curtains, as well as each stroke of the garland! I really like the faded scene through the window and of course the teddy bear! :) It takes true talent to look at a picture and replicate it on a piece of plywood! Outstanding work, and thank you for sharing! :) Saved + faved.
