Okay, so maybe not so much huddled or a mass. But a better title than "A Group of Ducks Standing Around Trying to Look Inconspicuous". I took this shot several weeks ago at another park in town. The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but not unpleasant. This flock of wild ducks overwinter at this pond; there are many more than shown in the photo. The pond doesn't completely freeze over, so they have access to open water. Some people like to visit the park and feed them bread, the smart ones bring grain or corn. Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - I think the alternate title has a ring to it! lol The ducks seem to be oblivious to your presence, as they are going about their business. Thad

What a wonderful duck photo! You were so lucky to find such a large group who are all apparently not camera shy.

Oh, I like this very much, Wendell! Looks like they're all doing their own thing, and for the most part very content! I also get the feeling that they don't know you're there :) Wonderful details and colour in this fine composition! Excellent work! Faved.

Hey Wendell
Oh sure they look innocent enough up to the point when you drop a couple pieces of bread! That is when they come running! Great herd of ducks you got here Wendell! Nice and clear shot!
