I figured I'd jump on the birthday bandwagon and wish Pat/Icedancer/Skates a Happy Birthday. This is actually a groundhog, but the title "groundhog greetings" don't exactly roll off the tongue quite so well. This critter and it's mate decided to dig a den on a wooded bank of the side lawn and raise a family. They pay their rent by doing some light weeding duties and public service announcements when necessary. So far they've stayed out of the flower beds. Haven't seen any of the young yet. The last time they were here they got evicted by a mother skunk; hopefully things will go better this time around. Enjoy.
