I have been trying for quite some time to get photos of all the various birds that pass through my backyard. These little birds proved to be quite elusive. Preferring to remain hidden among the leaves and branches of the pin cherry trees as chased down tasty insects and each other. Today I was lucky and managed to capture two of them in one frame. Hope you enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - One is telling the other that he was there first, so he gets first pick on the pin cherry snacks. Thad

Hey Wendell
Black throated Green Warblers are very territorial birds even when it comes to just a few pin cherries!! You caught this scene very nicely! I can hear them now!

Wendell, I'm not very fond of birds nor their photos. For me mostly they all seems like photos of the same brand's different models of cars. But.. yours is very very different. Great composition of a great moment. I really liked this very much. Saved and faved.

Looks like a very one-way conversation, Wendell. The warblers stand out excellently against the almost lime-coloured background.

This is a wonderful shot Wendell - I've had little luck catching even a robin in the tree outside my 3rd floor condo - nicely done.

They do look as if they are conversing. I wonder what they're chattin' about. Pretty birds Wen.

Wendell...

First of all I apologize for the delay and brevity. I have over 50 comments to take care of; so I will keep this relatively brief by my standards.

I envy anyone who can take a photo of wildlife of any sort. I have a gazillion birds in my yard, but I've never had any luck capturing one in a photo or otherwise; so congrats on that. To me, this looks very slightly unfocused which drops your wow factor. My best guess is that these little guys were captured with a telephoto lens and wouldn't sit still or were buried in the leaves' shadows. I went to the beach and took what I thought was an excellent photo of a crane, but the outline and details were slightly indistinct. This is a thousand times better than anything I've ever done.
