A view of the Cobequid Bay shoreline a few km outside of town. I went for a walk along one of the local portions of the Trans-Canada Trail. This was one of the shots I took that hot, hazy day. The tide is starting to come in covering the mud flats; otherwise I might have been foolish enough to be down there taking a few shots and getting stuck. A compilation of several shots stitched together. Pretty much left the photo alone edit-wise. I could have moved down to the next spit of land and gotten a clearer shot of the farm, but I'll leave that for another time, if I remember. Hope you enjoy the view and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - A wise choice to stay clear of the bay at tide change with the dramatic changes that quickly occur there. Having stayed in Truro while in NS, I can affirm the beauty of your home province, with the good fortune to see views like this while touring the upper peninsula. Thad

A wonderful composition, Wendell. Could be something out of a travelogue. I'm sure your local tourist board would snap this up.

Hi, Wendell....

Beautiful view. Almost looks like a postcard. The greenery is a wonderful contrast to the mud flats and the muddy water. And what a pastoral background. So when you say stitched together, do you mean that the panoramic view was done with PhotoShop? Just wondering how you did that. However you created the image, it sure did turn out purdy.
