Another shot from the Lake Tour 2010. A couple of chairs sitting on a floating dock. I just liked the way they stood out from the surroundings. I threw the clarity overboard in this photo, and went with a softer look. That and a few other edits later I ended up with this shot.

Hope you enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell - Some wonderful soft tones in this photo. Except at the largest sizes, the chairs are secondary to these other pretty tones. Thad

The soft focus works a charm with this shot Wendell. That, coupled with the lovely deep blue of the water, gives the picture a great dreamy feel.

Reminds me of sailing class yesterday...
Except I saw dolphins... and the water was choppy.. And it was windy... and it was kinda stormy...
Ok, not so much.

Hi, Wendell...

Only you would have named this photo "Yellow Chairs". Title aside, this is by far your best photo as far as I'm concerned. The post photo work is sensational. The colors are dreamy and glorious. I like the soft focus or whatever you want to call it. There's a hint of autumn in the leaves at the tops of the trees. Just beautiful. Nobody gets a 10. I would have given this a solid 9 in the VB. You are hereby awarded a "wow"
