I really have nothing to say about this photo and couldn't even come up with a right proper name. According to the time stamp on the file this photo was shot around 7'ish. Though I seem to recall the sky wasn't quite that dark. So I'm forced to give it this lame name. I've been reduced to alliteration.

I'm very sorry, Wendell, to hear that you've been reduced to alliteration. Not your best narrative although maybe one of your most honest. Luckily Caedes is more about photos than narratives, and this is a fine shot of the moon. I really like the yellow/orange coloration of the moon. Must be that Canadian atmosphere. I like the foreground silhouette as well. Please don't tell me you did this without a tripod. I can't even take a shot without motion blur at noon.

Always avoid alliteration at all costs, Wendell. ;~}

I wish I could remember where I heard that!
Lovely shot, by the way.

Does not matter whatr ya call it Wendell - it is a fine shot capturing a wonderful time of day.
I could look at this for a long time and expect the moon to sail acrosss the sky.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Ha! You got in a wonderful way my almost orange moon, Wendell!!! Yes! I love the very dark blue before it becomes completely black at night, it is a stunning color for me and your photo composition is marvellous, love it! Have wonderful golden moon nights, my friend!

It is a beautiful image Wendell. It does look as though it was taken much after sunset. It has also a bit of that spooky look.
