The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Lovely stepping effect in this photo and very nice colours Wendell too, plus I like how you focused on the centre flower showing all the detail in the petals.Plus the slight blurring work wonders with this shot too well done.

I've been reading and re-reading your narrative, Wendell, and it just doesn't make any sense on a number of levels.

1) How could a trail walk? Where was the trail walking when it was a walking trail and what creates the motion?
2) Not only is this sentient trail capable of walking, it actually found some flowers? Around here the trails are just typically inorganic dirt. They must send the ones in Canada to school to learn how to walk and find flowers.

On a serious note that we will call C flat for the time being, nice colors. My personal preference would have been to avoid having the three flowers overlapping, but perhaps you did that on purpose to accentuate the DoF and more than likely to irritate me.

I see that Thad identified the victim as a black eyed Susan. I think we're all wondering the same thing. Who is Susan and where did she get that black eye?

Don't know what to do with that youngster, Wendell. Everyone knows we have walking trails everywhere in Canada. Especially interesting are the climbing ones in all the big Malls.

Anyway, a very well balanced composition, with just enough depth.

This is a beautiful composition, Wendell. Excellent color and lighting, too. I love the blurred background.
