Another in the Scene from the Road series of photos. Shot from a moving vehicle while roaring by at 120 kph. Set the camera in burst mode and shot like mad as we went by the scene. This is the only shot that the tree came out in relative focus. Cropped, cloned and Orton-ized for my viewing pleasure.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

To me this is one of those shots that I've tried many times and have succeeded on never. It's like shots at a motorcycle race when you pan with the subject and the background is blurred to show the speeds. I tried this on birds, boats and cars but never a tree from a moving car.

I'm going to have to read up on Orton. I keep seeing that term but thought it was a focus adjustment. Love the greens and the blues and am amazed at the focus of the tree at these speeds. You weren't driving, were you?

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Well seeing you was running when you took this shot it is very nice. The colours are nice and rich and you have just the right amount of detail as not to go over the top.So i will say very cleaver piece of work Wendell.

The blur and then focus works well in this shot.
