Another mural depicting life in the 1780's this time around. This particular stretch of river is a mile or so outside of the current town limits and pretty much looks the same today with the addition of a few more houses and maybe the odd street light or two and mailboxes, can't forget the mailboxes.

A few perspective problems were encountered in the shooting due to an inconveniently placed street lamp. This will also be the end of the series. Apparently while I wasn't paying particular attention to my surroundings. The rest of the murals have been removed from their last known locations. You would think that in a small town like this that they would be easy to find if they had moved them.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Really enjoyed these old murals Wendell - this is another goody and you captured it well with great clarity.

Sorry that I missed the series, Wendell. If they were all as fascinating as this, maybe I'm not so sorry. I'd put photos of murals along with photos of statues and photos of photos near the bottom of my list of favorites.

Did you see Cool Hand Luke? I'd say that it would be easy to take care of that "inconveniently placed street lamp". And as we know, everyone lived happily ever after in "Cool Hand Luke"; so there would be no more anxiety about abstracts like your future. Something to think about.

I think it's neat. Is this the tidal river coming in from Bay of Fundy, just West of Truro?
