It seems I got distracted. Turning blue just wasn't coming out as expected, needs a few kinks ironed out or thrown in; I'm undecided. So I guess we'll have to put up with this photo in it's place.

I'm back at the park risking life and limb to snap this photo and the other hundred that accommodated it. You try clinging to a tree on the side of a cliff with one hand while operating a camera with the other hand. It's not as glamorous as it sounds. The hard part was getting back up to the trail, that's when the slipping and sliding decided to occur. Then there was the waiting for the two hikers to get into position. They never did so I ended up having to move them. It seems nobody takes direction anymore.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I really am enjoying this posting, Wendell. Maybe I'm an aerialist, but this pigeon's eye view is spectacular. Here I am bitching about the weather in California and you're risking your life to entertain us with these breathtaking vistas. I thank you for this posting.

I like your use of a myriad of areas on non-focus. The whole shot leads the eye directly to the couple down below. I see that you're back to including benches in your shots.

Interesting perspective and an A+ for effort plus a fave for doing the unexpected even by the standards according to Wendell.

Roger

P.S. "...needs a few kinks ironed out or thrown in" is yet another sentence that ends with a preposition as noted above.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Selective focus worked well here to give us a "birds eye" view.

I do like this photo and the angle you took the shot from it like a model set and the circular effect with the slight blur work very nicely. You also get the feeling that some big cat is looking down on it's pray.

You made good use of that Whirly Bird helmet they use for topping trees, Wendell :-).
Nice camera angle and DOF effect, though I'd like to have seen it with the creek sharp.

Wendell - I think this had some Lens Effects work on it - very cool outcome with the miniaturization. Thad

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.
