The latest addition to my Extreme Dining Series of photos. This is not a sport for the queasy of stomach or lead of foot. A full spread is laid out on the table for the participants during a strong wind storm. The challenge is to finish the full nine course meal before the tree possibly comes crashing down. Leaves blown into the meal are considered to be part of the salad course, so use the proper fork or suffer penalty points. Be advised that ducks are known to inhabit the area. So use the appropriate caution when they are in motion.

Enjoy and you comments welcomed.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

As soon as I saw this I considered the advisability of dining at that table - I think not! good shot. (I'm waiting for the king of benches to enter the current contest)

You had better go and stake it up or move the table. Good, sharp capture.

What a beautiful area to have a picnic and just chill out.Great detail and nice composition in this shot and the tree adds that extra with it roots clinging on hard to stay up right, plus there is some beautiful light running through this photo too.

I like how you handled the color on this. It's a great photo my Friend and as always, very well done. The 'leaving tree thing' is causing me some disorientation however. Is there anything that can be done here?

I enjoy your narratives as much as your captures, now pardon me while I go find my salad -ehm- leaf fork. I'd be up for it!

It does look like a nice shady spot, as long as you have lightening-like reflexes for the inevitable fall. Then again, perhaps that tree has been like that for decades? Interesting shot.
