This way either leads to where I want to go or to where I have been. I sort of got turned around here on the trail. I'm just glad there wasn't a fork in the road or I might have had a breakdown figuring out how I got there.

Again stunning light and shade plus very good depth of field as well in this one ,I also like the strange textures the trees are give off two.

That has happened to me a time or two my friend. Getting turned around in a dense forest is a little panicky especially when it is getting close to dark thirty. Good thing you had a fence to help you out. I like your angle in this Wendell. Did you lower the clarity or something to get that soft effect in the trees?

Photoshop Tutorial - Three Layer Orton Effect
Following the technique outlined (and with accompanying screenshots).. gives you a lil' more control. Particularly where and when you want the original image (and focus) to come through.
That said..
