Well there it was on the far shore and me on the near. To say I yearned for its gentle embrace would be maybe stretching the truth. Though it would be nice to sit awhile; after all I had walked all of 50 meters from the parking lot to get this far. I don't think it's asking too much to have evenly spaced benches in a public park. But these folks scattered them seemingly randomly across the park-scape. It was almost as if they wanted you to explore the place just so you could get to a comfortable seat.

I loved that movie "A Bench Too Far" although I thought the book was better. The musical on Broadway was misplaced, but I did enjoy the situation comedy for the three years that it was on CBS.
Good work capturing those crazy reeds in that wind. I would have ended up with a blurry mess. However, I'm happy to know that even the folks in Nova Scotia are suffering through the winds that we're having here although I doubt that it's hay fever season where you are. The pollen index is off the charts here. Love the greens in your shot, as everything is starting to turn brown here because of the drought. Very nice work with the composition and that cute peak through the vegetation at the signature bench. The only thing I noticed is that the contrast seems slightly excessive in the background. Maybe it's just my natural fear of dark forests after my encounter with those lions, tigers and bears (oh, my) on the yellow brick road.
