It probably also requires a few other things as well. Discuss it among yourselves and when you reach a consensus let me know by registered mail. I of course have no idea what brand of bloom these are. If you happen to know there is an elderly couple I met while photographing them would like to know as well. So if you happen to run into them on your travels be sure to let them in on the secret.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Well, Wendell, you've come to the right place. As a professional flowerologist, I knew immediately that this was a dandelions. I did run into the elderly couple and gave them the information. The wife seemed skeptical and questioned me at length. I think I finally satisfied her with my knowledge after I pistol whipped her.

The combination of pinks and blues makes me want to print this out and turn it into baby wrapping paper. Love the blurred background and the wonderfully focused dandelion. Excellent focus in showing the texture in the pink petals. DOF seems just about right. A very nice foofy shot.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I'm sorry I have to join elderly couple as well, I have seen these before but I can't think of the name! I do know that I really like the color, and the background sets it off so nicely.

I see Pink Dolphins trying to get back in the water, though I never heard of a flower by that name.

It appears to be a magnolia or what is sometimes called tulip tree. Nice capture with the blue water blurred background.
