Groundhog Day came a little late this year and judging from the results I'm wishing it had not come at all. I'm afraid we're in for six more weeks of winter all because this cursed rodent saw his shadow. If he had bothered to pop his silly head out of his den last week when it was dark, dreary, overcast and downright gloomy we wouldn't be in this predicament. So its time to unpack all your winter clothing and put the snow tires back on the car. And if snowedin_648 would please get in touch with me, I'd like to buy back the snow shovel I sold to you on craigslist.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I wouldn't worry too much about the six more weeks of winter....but if you get stuck in a rut like Bill Murray did in the movie, which could go on for years, THEN I would worry! Anyways...this is a gorgeous shot of the furry little critter. Nice work.

I don't want to irk my northern friends, but we had a winter this year? In case those who don't know, I'm in the deep south, so it got a bit chilly for a short while but no snow. I feel for those who had to deal with all the mess and frigid temps, I spent 25 years living with it as well. Anyhow, nice shot of this fore bringer of spring.
