Today I got sunburned whilst in the process of wandering through the park looking for just about anything snap-worthy to shoot. I don't want your pity, I want your soothing skin creams with or without aloe. I also had to delay several shots while people saw fit to wander about doing their own thing today as well. And lastly I got into a barking contest with some stranger's dog. Outside of that nothing much else happened today.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Who won...? Barking contest I refer to, of course. :)
Good your hands were not that affected by sunburn as you would not have been able to produce such a sweetly dark image that both the undersigned find most inspiring.
SAM & SAAB
BTW: next time you should ask Boris to be your coach in barking - his is deep baritone gliding into bass and with grand finale in howling... Music moment worth anything.

Aye pal........But you enjoyed the solitude! and beauty of this place as you strolled through it!

The lighting centres the eye on the bridge which is the main sunject in the image...nice work and well done!

Dark and mysterious - I think I'd be a little careful walking in the dark there - are there bears?

It looks like my kind of ground it as me fascinated with all the trees and that say what creature would I spot hiding with in this area .Love the sunlight that is braking through the trees and how it highlights the bridge and the texture in the leafs on the trees too.Well done to a great capture of light and shadows Wendell. As for the dog barking it was tell the rest of nature it can smell bacon cooking and that was you lol.

Ok.. my curiosity got the better of me, so.. downloaded your image here and took it into Photoshop to open up the shadows some.

That.. was one of the thoughts at the forefront of me pea brain.

The other was.. and in looking a lil' more closely at the colours.. why the bump in saturation? Artistic license, perhaps?

And allll of these thoughts having at their root.. the overwhelming consensus and prevalence of thought.. that this is a really well composed photo.

The composition is strong with this one.

And it just happens to hit on my soft spots for 'natural' landscapes (setting and flora.. very reminiscent of 'up north' (cottage country) in my province) with a contributing human element (the small wooden bridge).

Time and opportunity permitting on your end.. would appreciate some enlightenment.. the insider's look, if you will.. along the lines of what you did.. and more so, why did you do what you did?

Think of me as.. the 'Larry King of Caedes'.

... ...

Without the suspenders.

... ...

Or, the umpteen previous marriages.

... ...

I do wear glasses, though?

Just enough sunlight seeping through to make that wonderful shadow on the bridge and the interesting play among the trees Wendell. Good shot.
