An old photo I found in the family album dating back to early summer of 2016. I did what I could to restore it to a more pristine condition, but the ravages of time have taken their toll.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I have always enjoyed seeing these 'covered' bridges....We don't see these over here!....
they do add a characteristic setting to a scene...

Good one for the contest Wendell!

Looks solidly built to withstand the Canadian winter. Nice composition and the sepia tone makes it look even better.

It is an oldie then isn't it! Wonderful tones in this - it looks quite retro so could go in the current contest.

You did a good good job on the note restoring this photo.

And whoever took it.. composed it well.

Caveats?

Nit picking, really.. the border/vignetting?

Part of me wants to see it more 'uniform', and in particular.. at the top and right-hand side. If there were no 'gaps'.. as is the case in the left-hand side and bottom of your framing/vignetting.. might kick things up a notch and mitigate any visual distractions?

Thinking/typing out in the above. Hope you don't mind.

That said.. and on the above note, just some creative food for thought, Wendell:

Best of luck with your entry here.

And, but, of course.. thanks for sharing this one with us.
