The National Theater of St. John in Oporto. The theater are in Battle Square, this curious name came from the ancient times before Portugal was a nation from one battle against the moorish that came from the North of Africa, and in the transistion from the monarchy to the republic a couple of fights and revolutions take place in this square.

Great picture, as is the history of Portugal, they discovered many new places for Europe in its days, and usualy about a 100 years before we the Dutch or the English did so. We share some encounters during the ages though ;-)
