Hey again John - one of AZ's best looking birds, just my opinion! Gotta be quick w/these - the last one I saw down here only let me get one of him while sitting on a park fence, despite following him through the trees for about 20 minutes! Congrats!

Excellent. I don’t know how do manage to catch your birds, but the compositions, details and colors are delightful

What a beauty. I can't imagine what kind of camouflage this guy is supposed to be wearing, but you've certainly captured his colors and appearance to a "t".

What a beautiful little bird! I got this in the VB and gave it an 8. It would easily have been a 10 if it were placed a little more on the right. Give him some space ahead of him to fly off into or look into.

Scored this one high in the VB which led me here. Wonderful capture of a brilliantly colored bird ... one I've not had the pleasure of seeing in the real world. Great work and thanks for posting this delight.

This is by far, tremendously much more beautiful than the last bird! Although both are excellent captures. Fantastic work :)

Great picture. It's almost a little too close, do you have one from a little wider angle?

Thanks Anita, JoAnn, Herman. Doc, Nancy and Mary for all your kind words.. Doc, I took 20-30 pictures of this little red bird yesterday. This one is not as bright, but a real colorful little flycatcher. If you really want a smaller angle of the subject, email me
