In 2002 I went to visit my daughter in Puyallup Washington. We went to Mt. Rainier and hiked starting from the southern edge of the mountain near Paradise where it is famous for its glorious views and wildflower meadows and came upon this vista and got this great shot. I tip my hat to Nathan Smith who collaborated with me on "adjusting" this picture. My original image was 'washed' out in the sky and Nathan mastered a wonderful enhancement in restoring it to grandeur and then we took out a trail marker that distracted from the beauty of the scene and this is really how it looked that day (almost) :):)Enjoy. I would likely trip hiking there, for looking at the view. Nicely composed through the valley with the land rising enhanced by those trees and sky. Beautiful image.

Thanks Leslie for your comments on Mount Rainier Valley. I was so impressed by the vastness of the mountain and how green it was in Sept.! You probably know right where I'm talking about when I mentioned Paradise. I saw my first marmot as well that trip:)I had never seen or heard of one before. Such a beautiful place.Have a great day. Thanks again. BB
