In northern California about 45 miles north of Redding is a place called called Railroad Park Resort. There are cabooses turned into rooms for rent and a place to picnic and just hang out. On site is the Old Willamitte Shy Logging Engine built by Portland Iron Works in 1927. The pistons and crankshaft are on the exterior and drive the wheels through a series of gears all readily seen from the outside. I took a picture of the crankshaft and piston area and manipulated it here in this picture. I know it tweaks the eyes but I can have fun just like the girls!!:):)Enjoy, Bruce

Well, my poor ol' eyes can't focus on this without my sight getting worse! But I would love to go see those little cabooses made into rooms. What a grand idea. V

Can't think how you did this, but I like the effect in this image. They also have a similar setup in Chattanooga, Tenn. using the old pullman cars as rooms. Bet you can't imagine what they would have called the one in Chattanooga? Neat image here.
