Early this month on our way back from visiting the grand kids in La Pine, Oregon we managed a side-trip to Crater Lake. I know you would do the same if you knew you would be seeing the same view!:):) After touching this up a bit I wish I had gotten less of the left hillside and a bit more lake to the right in the image but still it aint bad:):) Did you know spellcheck does not like aint??:) Thanks for your comments. The hillside is as eye-catching as the lake, so I wouldn't worry. In fact it makes it a bit unusual and that suits it. Lovely colours here too. :-)

What gorgeous scenery and love the angle showing us just how steep the banks are to this beautiful lake. I really like it the way it is.
