"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
I always think it's one of life's ironies that the very distinguishing quality little flowers all share (Their littleness.) is often denied by us photographers in the way we capture them, in macro. LOL. Good on you for keeping these ones in context/scale. I prefer this version to the other one. Using the sky as an uncluttered backdrop for the blossoms was good and I think the thin strip of water/land at the bottom helps give a sense of perspective. I'd have preferred a crop that included the tips of the branches but that's just me.

Mikel.

i remember how it was in the old days
we would go outside in the grass and lay
down next to each other where we'd stay
up all night and talk to each other this way
we used to go everywhere together
doesn't matter if it was poor or fair weather
you asked me if i'd cheat i said never
i know i messed up but i'm gonna make it better
