I love the content of the image, though the overwhelming gray doesn't do the rendering justice. It could be perceived more as a twilight sail, than sunset, but I think this would look spectacular with some rich ocean blues/greens that carry up into a early sunrise. It's peaceful and serene... I just prefer more color.

Funny how differently each of us see a particular image. I remember telling you recently one of your computer landscapes ( "A Night to Remember" ) was too somber for my taste ... needed some more brightness in color. Now I look at this image and I find it very appealing. The gray to black tones in this image are striking ... really is a pleasure to take in this wonderful piece of work. I see no need for more coloring, but that's just my taste and like I said earlier "Funny ..."
DUDE...this is far out man...do love the near metallic look to it...which reminds me of the late 60's and early 70's. nice change up to your other stuff! dAVE
Thank you all very much. I really appreciate the comments.
I personally am a "color" freak, you know that by my stuff. I also Love B&W...with a hint of color.
But like muggsy said, "Funny how differently each of us see a particular image."
AND...there ya go.
My Images are created...In the mood I'm in at the present time, and what my mind is "lookin at".
To some,...it might look better in color...That night, That mood....I was in Dark B&W mode.
Interesting that you chose to leave color in the little sandy island an not in the sky or water. This is a very striking and unusual image. I really like it.
