205 steps. Thank god there are 4 landings to "take a break". On the 3 landing, there's a neat little wall plaque..... it says, "on this landing, the assistant lighthouse keeper was found dead of a heart attack in 18??". My wife truned around and went back down. :-)

oh my gosh, when i saw the title i was hoping to see a photograph of stairs. wow! this really has been redone beautifully. i've never seen white stairs and have climbed quite a few lighthouses. you must have had either good llight or a very steady hand. excellent! jen

I think shooting round steps like this is hard to do well... you done it very well! The lighting, the height they go up, the interesting detail on the bottom steps. Wonderful job. :)
