The Heidelberg Convention Center. I like the shadows on the face of the building. With the lights on it like this, you can pick this building out from anywhere on the river within two miles of it.

Some of you have asked whether I used a starlight filter on these night shots. I didn't use a starlight filter, but I think the starlight effect was a natural result of the long exposure times I was using...anything over 8 seconds produced the starlights...this one was a 6 second exposure...no starlight effect.

The starlights came through beautifully though in Alte Brucke, an 8 second exposure and Heidelberg Schloss, a 10 second exposure.

These reflections are absolutely spectacular. The water is like glass, perfectly reflecting that amazing gold color. I'm so jealous of these!! I think mine would come out super grainy if I couldn't use a lower ISO...theres such little graininess on this. Another job very well done, Chris!!

You did it again! Fantastic night shot! The reflection in the water is almost as vivid as the building itself! Nice work, Chris!
