Last year during my holiday in France I heard someone scream: Fire!!! So offcourse I went and had a look... Just like everybody else. While the waterplanes where coming by I made some shots and this one I really liked, cause it's a action shot. Hope you'll like it too.

Wow! fantastic capture, Gabrielle. You were right on top of the situation with the camera shutter.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Cool shot! I saw a few of these in France a year ago scooping up water from the Mediterranean. Thanks for the comments on Chaos.

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Just at the right time! I sympathise just how fast one has to be when capturing moving things, as its a panic to hit the focus/shoot button, by which time the object's moved on! Very well done!

Wow, cool shot. It reminds me of scenes from action/catastrophic movies where something's happened and people just stop, jump of their cars and watch, completely stunned. And then they die... :) Anyway, very well done.
