I like the grasses in the foreground also. They make the entire composition and hold it together. The grasses are elegant and beautiful. The water is a clear, clean looking shade of blue that appeals to me and the mountains in the background have a lot of color in them which sets them off. Very well put together composition I'd say.

wow. i love how desolate this place looks, it looks as if no one has ever been there before you. where is it taken? it looks to me like somewhere maybe in alberta? but i could be wrong

What a lovely capture! Where was this photo taken? Your choice of framing enhances the majesty of the mountain range, and the water gives this a calming effect. Praise be to the Great Creator for this reflection of His beauty! Thanks for sharing. =)
