"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I first saw this in the voting booth earlier today I'm glad to see it in new pictures so I could comment on it. I gave it a nine. This is a great photo, I like the mood, colors, and shades and most of all it reminds me of what I saw alot growing up in the sixties in New York. I also thought of "My little Town" by Simon & Garfunkel. One part of the song says "My Mom doing the laundry, Hanging our shirts in the dirty breeze".
great shot! i have a shot of washing in my gallery too so im glad im not the only one to think that it looks cool, i like the light shining through and picking up the shadows of what is behind the front lot of washing!
A beuatiful shot a very good idea maybe a little to dark in the lower left corner but an astonishing image. I especialy love the white sheet because of the shadows on it. Good job
