Nicely done, why not make a B/W version with only the colored lines on it, gives a great effect...I have been doing that too and you will be surprised...
I'm thinking a tripod to hold the camera rock solid and either some ND filters to darken the view so the camera has to take a long exposure, or F22 region to get a long exposure, or both. Same basic method people use to smooth out flowing water. I like the way the light trails flow from each bottom corner, I like the curve though where it vanishes could be a bit more decisive, by which I mean there are other spots in the frame that if it vanished at, would add balance and structure to it's elegant elements. I also like how there are few other light points in the shot, allowing the light ribbons to dominate.
Very nice long exposure shot. Great composition with curves. One difficulty to take such shots is to guess the result of dynamic light's final shape in the composition. Your composition is great.
