Dragonflies are not easy subjects as they are always on the move. I do like the composition as is. Focus is a little soft, so I think cropping wouldn't have made much difference unless you did some post sharpening on the subject. Not sure what camera equipment you are using, but I'd suggest to get a little closer to the subject, if possible. By the way, nice DOF. Very well captured & thanks for sharing.
