I´m always curious when I see dark thumbnails. When I see This one in full-size I immidiately associate to the tecnique that makes it possible to communicate on Internet - the fibres in a broadband cable...but I accept your description aswell...lol Nice job.

I should've made more of a note about "The Furies". I believe it's in the right catagory as this is an actual picture I took, not a fractal or something I created--I don't know how to do that. Wish I did, some fractals I see are simply amazing!

Anyway this is a picture that went bad, one of many I have (ha ha), but I thought it was kinda neat.
