This shot was from our vacation to New Hampshire, in October. It was taken only a few days into the trip, but still is one of my favorites. Those eighteen days left me the most beautiful memories, and served as a powerful reminder: The natural world is home to wonders that take our breath away; the power of nature to change people, to energize and to inspire them, is something truly amazing, and were it to disappear, would be our greatest loss. A world without nature's beauty; without sights like those captured eternally here on Caedes... what kind of world would that be?

I would greatly appreciate some critique on this, guys--I'm always looking to improve! Thank you very much ahead of time for all comments, faves, and views. (:

Gorgeous autumn colors and very nice back-lighting, Kira. Good detail in the shadows, as well. Your angle makes everything appear to lean to the right, but a nice shot, nonetheless. You've done an excellent job of capturing the beauty of this spot.

Hi Kira,
The roof is what crooked, you can easily correct it with an application such as PaintShop or something.
Use the perspective correction option.
But nevertheless a beautiful picture ;-))

Macavity, Macavity, thoere's no one like mcavity, there never was a Cat of such deceitfulness and suavity. H always has an alibi, and one or two to spare: At whatever time the deed took place---Macavity wasn't there!
