I've been saving this one! Secrets revealed; All photos are my original work except for the skull painting, created by a good friend, Brian Sarno. The crypt walls are actually a texture shot of bark. The cross was taken from Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, N.Y. Multiple layers were added to give the color, and a texture shot of scratched metal plate was screened over with a pin light effect. The light bearing down is simply a picture with motion blur and distorted to shape with emboss and outer glow and some gradient effects. (Was I too eleborate?) Many thanks for stopping by, & HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Terrific manip. I love the spookiness behind the image. This is another of your best. Well done! =)

I'd say that all that work paid off in the end. I love working in PS, but I have to be careful not to overdo...you seem to have hit just the right level.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like it, especially the ray of light. Great colors. I think that's Jimmy Hoffa's skull, isn't it?
