Ok, so Here's the original version of "Night of Day", or "Day of Night", or whatever I called it. :D As you can see, this shot is alot nicer. It wasn't a gloomy day and there where no storms in sight. I just wanted to see how I could turn something like this into a peice of "art", perhaps? Whatever the case, hope you like 'em both... enjoy.

Thanks everyone.. yes Cindy, perhaps the most fun I have out of Photography is "rework" or some other enhancment! I do like to use the tools this digital world has to offer, and try to push a few boundries. I don't read tutorials, I figured out photoshop without a booklet and its all been from tooling around with differnt things and trial and error.
Like all of us, I learn something new everyday! It's the virus of life.. :)

Wow, striking differences in every way. I like both for different reasons and moods. You're a great inspiration for seeing other possibilities for editing. I can see why those clouds captured your attention, I can almost feel the breeze. In this colored version the red buildings really pop through those trees.

This is beautiful, soft, sweet, peaceful and it's in a category all of its own. I just really love the shadows of the trees and the sunlight on both the houses. They are both lovely photos, but I have to say I prefer the manipulation, just because I enjoy doing that also, and I totally love the drama effect! Makes me give a huge sigh of enjoyment. Bravo on both of them tho. Verena
