A bronze statue in Downtown Syracuse. The child is holding onto an old fire fighters wagon with horses. (I wanted to put this into the current contest for B+W but could not find the gallery.) Hope you like it.

I like the tonal quality on this, especially the division left and right of the woman's head, smooth on one side, rough on the other. Nice composition.

I don't think there is an ongoing contest yet, Jay, but if there was, this would be a very fine entry. I love the deep contrasts. I can see that fire wagon very well. Nice work on this and I really like the statue a great deal.

Beautiful piece of work here Jay & your presentation is outstanding. Love the lighting upon & surrounding the statue & the outer vignette works well as it appears to bring out the fine features of the statue. I like your choice of a B & W too ... faves.
